Sophia VANDERMEER

Hi I’m Sophia Vandermeer,

My journey began to find answers to a simple question:  Why do we become so overwhelmed that we are stuck and our mental, physical and emotional health suffer?

Why do some people succeed and others fail?

Those answers weren’t found in any book or T.V program. In fact there we so many examples of inconsistent results that I knew that there had to be something more. The key variable to each person’s journey wasn’t the goal or method that each person tried to feel better or move forward. The key variable was their mindset.

Or more specifically how their mind impacted their emotions.

What I discovered was that conventional thinking and a mixture of alternative and traditional methods that most people think are the solution were at times not enough. The discovery was that no one thing was going to provide the significant change that each person wanted.

There was also something else. I identified that the very way that people accepted what others told them was setting them up to fail. It was almost like a virus or a glitch in a computer program. You try and run the program but pushing the same buttons or those that everyone else is doing just isn’t working.

Therefore I went in search of tools and by using them in a multidisciplinary manner, I have been able to apply these behavioural sciences to help people re-programme their mind. Find out why some are able to achieve more and have more and ultimately be happier.

Through further studies I have found how I can help you achieve your goals and help you regain control of your mind, body and emotions.

I GUESS YOU COULD SAY I’VE ALWAYS HAD A FASCINATION ON HOW OUR MIND AND EMOTIONS EFFECT OUR LIVES.

From a career as a specialist registered nurse in oncology and watching how the mindset caused some people to fight and others to flounder. I took on martial arts becoming a 5th Dan black belt and 9th level in weaponry to understand how the mind can challenge the body to have control. And how everything we do in our mind alternately affects our body.

Simultaneously working in a career in the corporate business world and attaining an MBA I could see the pragmatic side of the business world and working relationships.

Later I went on to learn, study and practice in the behavioural sciences.  Having had a diverse range of experiences and progressive roles spanning over 35 years, my life journey from the medical friend, to health and nutrition to then the behavioural sciences it has made it clearer why some people manage certain aspects of their lives easier than others.

It became my personal mission to find out why so many struggle to succeed and more importantly what we can do about it to have a life that we enjoy, appreciate and look forward to.
